Scooter Centrale - Vespa Hartford recieves rave review!
Here's a review that came to us from Jane...a wonderful "young" lady who realized her dream of owning a scooter.
Jane says,
Excellent Place to do Business: The entire staff (yes, dogs too!) at Vespa Hartford was excellent in dealing with me as an "older", first-time scooter purchaser. They allowed me to test drive different models, and after I narrowed the choices, they offered explanations and advice (a very scooter-savvy group of people!) as to which model they thought best for me. Service has been very good, and my scooter is outfitted with all the accessories I wanted without waiting for parts availability. I wish everyone at Vespa Hartford great success. You deserve it! Each time I ride, I think of all of you who helped me realize my dream.
We're thrilled that we were able to help Jane find the scooter of her dreams and we'd love to do the same for you too!
Come on down and visit us at 161 Woodford Ave, Plainville, CT 06062. The scooter of your dreams is here, waiting for you! :)

“Cash for Clunkers” extended to MotorScooters!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
“Cash for Clunkers” extended to MotorScooters!
PLAINVILLE, CT: September 12, 2009 – Scooter Centrale LLC is pleased to announce a “Cash for Clunkers” program that will allow consumers to replace old or unwanted motorscooters. This innovative program, which piggybacks off the popular US Government program that was recently completed for automobiles, offers a $300 credit towards any in-stock NEW Genuine™ or Kymco™ motorscooter.
Scooter Centrale owner, Doug Day, says, “We’re happy to offer this program to help folks with old or unwanted motorscooters trade up for a new, more fuel-efficient vehicle. The fall season is a great time to enjoy the weather and foliage and there’s no better place to do that than on a motorscooter! People may not realize the amount of money they can save by performing the majority of their ‘around-town’ tasks or short commutes on a motorscooter. Today’s motorscooters get amazing gas mileage, with some vehicles getting over 100 miles per gallon. That means that it costs the motorscooter rider an average of 4 cents per mile to ride instead of 25 cents or more per mile for the average automobile rider.”
The “Cash for Clunkers” offer extends to all motorscooters 50cc and higher. All vehicles being traded must have proof of ownership with title/origination documentation or bill of sale and is limited to one trade-in per customer.
Scooter Centrale LLC, located at 161 Woodford Ave in Plainville, CT, is Connecticut’s first and only full service retail & repair service dedicated exclusively to the motorscooter. They offer several brands of motorscooters including Vespa, Piaggio, Genuine, Kymco, and Keeway. They also offer vintage Vespa, Lambretta and select pre-owned motorscooters. Their showroom features popular and hard-to-find accessories for motorscooters and they offer complete service, repair and winter storage.
For details on the “Cash for Clunkers” program or to learn more about Scooter Centrale and other offers please visit www.ScooterCentrale.com or call 860-747-2552.
